With a combined existence of over 300 years, the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) (founded in 1866) and the British Horological Institute (BHI) (founded in 1858) are making history with their first partnership to advance the art and science of horology. Classes will be held in London over the weekend of August 31 and September 1, 2019.
At HSNY's Horological Education classes, students discover what actually makes a watch tick. The hands-on classes will be taught by professional watchmakers from both HSNY and BHI. Students will work on a mechanical watch movement, studying the gear train, winding and setting mechanisms, and escapement. The weekend half-day classes cover everything taught during the individual evening classes held in New York.
Enrollment is now open for the London classes, and we look forward to seeing you there!
