AnnouncementsGeneva Watch Days 2025 Starts This Thursday – Stay Tuned!

Over 50 brands and a whole lot of releases from MB&F, Bulgari, Zenith, Oris, and more.

It's that time of year again. The kids are mostly headed back to school, watchmakers have returned from their (much envied) summer holiday, and if you're in the doldrums due to a lack of watch releases, well, it's Christmas in July—er, well, September. That's right, it's time for the sixth edition of Geneva Watch Days, the mid-year trade show attended by 66 brands and an event that promises to bring many great releases to get excited about.

Laurent Ferrier Classic Sandstone Auto

Laurent Ferrier Série Atelier Classic Auto 'Sandstone' was a standout from last year's Geneva Watch Days.

Coverage will begin in earnest on Thursday, September 4, and the event runs until Sunday, September 7. Five of the six founding members (Breitling, Bulgari, De Bethune, H. Moser, and MB&F) will be at the show, either launching new releases or showing things under embargo for the fall. There are also big-name brands like Zenith and TAG Heuer alongside fan favorites like Oris, Furlan Marri, Doxa, and more. For people looking for high-end independents, we've got Greubel Forsey, Berneron, Urwerk, and a whole field of other great brands (and something special coming from Andersen Genève, I hear).

M.A.D.1S

The M.A.D.1.S was a watch that was announced at Geneva Watch Days and I actually was lucky enough to get one. I still love it.

Both Andy Hoffman and I will be on the ground at Geneva Watch Days, hoping to provide some real-time coverage when we get hands-on with the watches. If you want a more behind-the-scenes look, feel free to follow us on Instagram, as well (here are the accounts for Hodinkee, Andy, and myself). We'll also be previewing some of the fall auction lots from Phillips, as well as several other exciting developments that we just can't talk about yet. Heck, maybe I'll even knock on some doors at Atelier Akrivia or snap some pictures at the Musée de Patek Philippe.

Daniel Roth Tourbillon

The Daniel Roth Tourbillon in Rose Gold, which was an Editor's Pick from last year.

While the show doesn't have some of the headliners of Watches and Wonders, it's an excellent opportunity for press and collectors alike to gather, look at watches, and take part in a variety of talks and events. If you're in Geneva during the dates, make sure you check the programming schedule. Andy will be hosting a talk with Zenith at 10 am on Saturday, and you won't want to miss it. If you're around, please say hello, just don't mind us if we look somewhat hectic. With only four days and 66 brands, we've gotta hustle!
