On Friday, our own Danny Milton spent a week with the Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 in white gold – dressing up in full 1920's attire and bringing the watch with him for a game of golf. It's a classic, and the deco-inspired piece felt very at home among the sand traps and putting greens. This watch has appealed to all manner of collector over the years, and has even crossed over into non-deco sports.
Enter J.J. Redick, the second – ever – guest on Talking Watches. For this week's Rewind, we thought we'd revisit this episode. Redick had an impressive collection at the time the video was shot, including a seriously cool limited edition Vacheron Constantin 1921 U.S. Boutique edition in yellow gold. It's the watch he wore when he signed with the L.A. Clippers, so it's special in more ways than one. You won't want to miss revisiting this one on your lazy Sunday.
